Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer - born on the 4th of August, 1981 is an American actor. She's best known for the roles she appeared in the film Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful, This Is Where I Leave You. Amantha helden, who is her present part on Rectify on the Sundance Channel. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in both television and film. Her fame was based on her role on Rectify (a comedy) and Timeless (a sci-fi). Gulf Breeze Florida native made her debut as an actor with the show All My Children. For her work, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. The next couple of years she was mostly a guest actor in a number of television shows. The most well-known was the role she played as the character of Dr. Erin Jameson, in the show Hawthorne. Her dazzling looks, combined with her incredible acting ability helped to slowly grow an audience. At the age twenty she made her acting debut in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as and Chasing Mavericks are two other films where she was featured. For her part in Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer has received an Teen Choice Award nomination and has also been praised for her work in this show by the reviewers.
