Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was aware that she was gifted to run when she was a student at Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial trial she took her skills, she placed second for 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she went to at the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic award at 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s, setting the new world junior record. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix consistently placed within the top third in each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
